The second venture of Samy Enterprises, after first film ‘Dhuniya’ in 2007 (Feb release), is coming after three years and in eleven months time this action filled cinema ‘Yaksha’ stars producer TP Siddaraju’s son Yogish, the young sensation today as hero with Rubi playing the lead.

‘Yaksha’ a war against evil forces is the debut direction of Ramesh Bhagavath. Nana Patekar from Bollywood has arrived in this film to play the cop role with Atul Kulkarni as tormentor.

The making of the cinema was easy but releasing the film was difficult for producer Siddaraju. He had to wait for three months and Sagar theatre in Bangalore going back on promise has really perturbed the producer. At one stage he thought of breaking the rule and going to other theatres for release. “Fortunately for the presence of Nana Patekar in the film I got the Narthaki theatre from distributor Basha”, remembers producer Siddaraju.

It is in this film he has appeared as a politician. His wife Ambujakshi, first son Yogish is the hero and second son Mahesh also comes in an interesting role. Sharanya is back in Kannada after a long time.
